Dutch Darts Premier League

The Dutch Darts Premier League (DDPL) is a darts tournament organised by the British Darts Organisation. The inaugural DDPL in 2007 will feature eight BDO players including their current world champion, Martin Adams.

Total prize fund for the tournament is €80,000.

Each night of the league will feature an elimination tournament. The overall winner of the tournament receives eight points in the DDPL. The remaining points will be allocated as follows.

Winner 8pts
Runner-up 6pts
Third place 4pts
Fourth place 2pts
First match losers 1pt

The top four players will then go into the finals night, where the seedings will be determined by the places achieved in the DDPL. In the event of a tie on points, the criteria used will be 1) most victories 2) number of 2nd places 3)number of 3rd places 4) number of 4th places 5) a play-off (if two players tied) 6) tournament averages (if three or more players tied)
