She was not scrapped in 1918 but sold instead to a belgian shipping company "Lloyd Royal Belge" and converted into a merchant ship in the shipyard "Chantiers de la Gironde" in Bordeaux. The new ship was delivered in 1919 as the "Péruvier". However, she was totally exhausted and after a serie of heavy problems was finally scrapped in a dutch shipyard in 1922.
