Dunrobin, Ontario

Dunrobin is a village comprised of farmland located north west of Ottawa, Canada. It lies along the Ottawa River, and is located at 45.18° latitude and 75.55° longitude. Dunrobin successfully amalgamated with the city of Ottawa in 2000. Dunrobin is expanding steadily with a current population of about 1,000 people.

Dunrobin was settled in the 1800s at the corner of Dunrobin Road and Thomas Dolan Parkway. While originally started as a agricultural community it now services mostly as a bedroom community for Ottawa.

Dunrobin took its name from Dunrobin Castle near Inverness, Scotland.
