Dunipace

Dunipace is a town in Stirlingshire, Scotland situated between Glasgow to the west and Edinburgh to the East.

In 1876 Dunipace was joined with Denny to form the Denny and Dunipace Burgh. This was abolished in 1975 when both areas became part of Falkirk District are were subsequently reorganised.

The town is situated on the north bank of the River Carron and adjoins the town of Denny to the South of the river. It is mainly residential however it does have a Church (Dunipace Church), a primary school (Dunipace Primary), a few shops including two hair dressers and also two Pubs; The Anchor Inn and The Red House.

Dunipace also has a Junior League football team, Dunipace F.C..

Legend exists that the famous Scottish patriot William Wallace lived with his uncle in Dunipace who was a clergyman at the parish church.
