The title of Duc de Noailles was a French peerage created in 1663 for Anne de Noailles, comte d'Ayen. The second, third and fourth dukes were all marshals of France. The family were made Grandees of Spain in 1711, and the third, fifth and sixth dukes were Knights of the Golden Fleece.

The heir-apparent is his son, Hélie-Marie-Auguste-Jacques-Bertrand-Philippe de Noailles, duc d'Ayen (b. 1943).
