The Duke of Carcaci (Italian: Duca di Carcaci) is the Head of one branch of the Paternó Castello family, a very ancient Italian family among whose ancestors were also the Princes of Biscari. The Head of the Royal branch of this family is Grand Master of the Order of the Collar of Saint Agatha, an order of chivalry that dates back to the 12th Century. He is also the Prince of Emmanuel, etc. The first Duke of Carcaci was don Vincenzo (1681 - 1767) who was made Duke of Carcaci 1725. A family tree is available here.
