Dugenta is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Benevento in the Italian region Campania, located about 35 km northeast of Naples and about 30 km west of Benevento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,669 and an area of 16.0 km2.[1]
The municipality of Dugenta contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Santa Maria Impesole and San Nicola.
Dugenta borders the following municipalities: Castel Campagnano, Frasso Telesino, Limatola, Melizzano, Sant'Agata de' Goti.
