Dubai Hospital is part of Dubai Government's Department of Health and Medical Services. It was built in November 1977, and has been operational since March 1983.

The building consists of 14 storeys, with the lower two for Accident & Emergency and outpatients, and the upper 10 for wards. It was designed by architect John Harris.

The current director of the hospital is Dr. Abdulrazzaq Al Madani.
