[edit] Summary

Experimental fiber, drawn (by Valerii at the Optical Science Center, University of Arizona)
from a D-shaped preform to confirm the hypothesis about chaoticity of D-shaped fibers.
Such fibers have application for double-clad fiber lasers.
The picture was taken by scanning microscope at Neurobiolocy department with help of Irina. This pic does not have anymore a commertical secret, so, I release it to the public domain.
