DS Cooking (Shaberu! DS Oryouri Navi in Japan) is a software developed for the Nintendo DS, and published by Nintendo Japan. It was released on June 20, 2006, in Japan. As of December 2006, there are no plans for release outside of Japan. This software is an electronic cookbook that features a cooking assistant. It provides the player with synthesized voices, and can be controlled by the player speaking into the Microphone, by saying "Okay" to move to the next step and saying "Timer" to start a timer feature. Most recipes are Japanese. Nintendo Japan also released a sequel called Shaberu! DS Oryouri Navi: Marugoto Teikoku Hotel.[1]
