The town centre (dark green) and the statistical district (light green) of Drouwen in the municipality of Borger-Odoorn.

Drouwen (52°57′N, 6°48′E) is a town in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Borger-Odoorn, and lies about 17 km east of Assen.

In 2001, the town of Drouwen had 99 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.053 km², and contained 39 residences.[1] The statistical area "Drouwen", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 490.[2]
