Dropping Daylight is a modern rock/alternative rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They have toured with Breaking Benjamin, and more recently with Army of Anyone.

Dropping Daylight, formerly Sue Generis, have toured on the Vans Warped Tour for a number of years, but more recently have toured with such acts as Breaking Benjamin, Monty Are I, and Jason Mraz. They were signed by Octone Records in 2005 and have been featured on MTV News: You Hear it First.[1] Their track "Tell Me" off their first full-length album Brace Yourself, has been receiving regular radio-play from a number of stations, including Madison's Solid Rock 94.1, Seattle's 107.7 The End and Rock 104 in the Shenango Valley area in Western Pennsylvania, Dallas-Fort Worth's 102.1 The EDGE, and also eastern Ohio. Dropping Daylight performed in Seattle at El Corazon in 2006 with Dizmas and Flyleaf.

They tour regularly with Breaking Benjamin, and Sebastian contributed vocals to Breaking Benjamin's Phobia album.
