I've been making occasional contributions since December 2005, mainly in language-related articles, esp. related to dialectal Arabic (have a PhD in linguistics in that area). I'm British, a Christian, and busier with other things than I'd like to be! According to political compass, I'm mildly on the economic left (-3.50), and even more mildly social libertarian (-2.36).
