[edit] Ambrose Light?

Hi. Back in May, you moved Ambrose Light to Ambrose Lightstation, saying, "This is the proper name, ". (It was later moved to "Ambrose light station".) The Coast Guard seems to think "Ambrose Light" is correct.[1] Do you have a source which prefers "Lightstation"? —wwoods 07:18, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Succession of Bishops of the Episcopal Church in the United States

Hi Dennis - thanks for your edits on the Massachusetts bishops. All contributions to the table are more than welcome. We need to figure out what to do with Alexander Viets Griswold - he was actually elected and consecrated for the Eastern Diocese, which covered all the New England states except Connecticut. As the other states got to the point where they could support their own bishops, the Eastern Dio. shrank until only Massachusetts was left (which is why Mass. still considers him their third bishop). I think we should probably mention both in the table, as crowded as that is. What do you think? -- Bpmullins 19:17, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I just made a couple more updates. It's probably better to err on the side of caution and add that information as long as it's clear to the reader. There are other's on the list who were Suffragan Bishop in one Diocese and later Diocesan Bishop in another, and they list both Diocese. Dennis 20:08, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
