[edit] T&W sta infobox

I have made an alteration to this so now it is possible to add platforms. However, i feel i have made it compulsory and so it may need to be added to all stations. I have left a similar message on the WP:T&W talk page Simply south 01:01, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks. I have changed the title so that it may be possible in future to add things under the operations, not just the platforms. (I also sometimes need to think more first!) I think i only changed Monument so i'll check. Simply south 11:22, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Shiremoor/Backworth

Thanks for explanation on my talk page. I'll leave it alone, as I didn't find precise verification in the first place. BTW you forgot to sign. --Richhoncho 21:29, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The Artists' Studio

I'm not entirely sure I understand the reason behind your tagging well enough to be able to fix it. The AfD for this article initially forced an overabundance of sources from a variety of places which is why there are so many print sources available, though considering theatres strive for reviews, post auditions, and experience controversy, I find it difficult to understand exactly what this tag is going for. Perhaps you could enlighten me as more details in your reasoning, and advice as to what needs to be done. Of course, any help would be appreciated as well! Thanks. --Enhanceddownloadbird 18:03, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ally Pally

Got your note on my talk about the panoramic image. That's fine. Just a question... You said: 'I notice you've undone my reversion already before I could finish this note. I will undo that, not out of spite, but purely because I didn't get the chance to tell you why before.'

I don't understand... I did no reversion of the page - I only made one edit which was soley to make it a wide image. J.P.Lon 00:06, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Caledonian Sleeper and Highland Chieftain

STOP CHANGING MY EDITS PLEASE

why u keep changing my edits?

why is it if U dont agree with something that it shud b deleted? without sme1 els baking u up

u should gt consensous to remove —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.109.234.187 (talkcontribs) 13:30, 4 March 2007.

Hi, DrFrench, could I remind you of the three-revert rule, which in a nutshell is that "Edit warring is harmful. Editors who revert a page in whole or in part more than three times in 24 hours, except in certain special circumstances, are likely to be blocked from editing". Whilst I agree that the timetable information isn't appropriate, it doesn't come under any of the exemptions from 3RR. If 81.109.234.187 puts the information back in after you have removed it, you should discuss this on the talk page. If you ignore the 3RR you could be blocked despite your edits being well intentioned. Adambro 13:38, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

it would help if drfrench would rply on his talk page to my questins

I have replied to your questions. I have replied by adding comments to your talk page. Please read them.

DrFrench 13:42, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

u shud kep questions and answrs n th same pag how can u follow a conversation othrwise? so pleas reply here

I find it hard to follow your conversations as you insist on using text speak. Please consider using normal English. Please remember to sign your comments. I left the comments on your user page so you would be alerted that was a new message for you. And you were obviously aware that I had left a coment there, becasue you blanked the page.

DrFrench 13:50, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

You just wanna get rid of something you dont like and has had some work put into it - i think it very selfish and you havent asked if anyone eles dosnt want them in

[edit] Timetables.

This is a cross-post. Due to your Edit waring over Highland Chieftain and Caldeonian Sleeper, you've violated 3RR, therefore I've reverted to a pre-edit-war version and reported you both on the 3RR noticeboard. Please refrain from editing the articles until the matter has been settled. Thanks, Will (Speak to Me/Breathe)(Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash) 13:48, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.

[edit] WMSR

Great work with the Wrexham, Shropshire and Marylebone Railway article: it needed something like that. I've made a couple of subtle modifications to your version: hope you don't mind! --RFBailey 23:10, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] This is everyone's Wikipedia

WP:KETTLE. Have a nice day. Chris cheese whine 21:36, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, I wasn't aware that editing in line with our policies and guidelines was contrary to consensus, of which you are clearly the ultimate arbiter. Chris cheese whine 21:47, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
What it doesn't say is that you need to obtain a consensus of immediately-involved parties every time you want to make a small change, when there are perfectly good policies and consensus behaviour already. Drop in to WP:IFD some time and see various cosmetic imagery get deleted on a regular basis. I even brought this up at the Pump, and the response seems to be in no doubt about it. It seems you are clearly misunderstanding what consensus actually means. Chris cheese whine 21:56, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Station nameboards at WP:IFD

I have followed the recommendation made to be at the Pump, and proposed these for deletion at WP:IFD. Feel free to weigh in on the discussion there (remember that thing you said about "building consensus"?). Chris cheese whine 22:12, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Top Gear Dog

Can you please refrain from constantly undoing other people's edits without first discussing them on the talk page? I see you have already been temporarily banned in the past for such actions.

Well you may have noticed that I have backed down and created a new Top Gear Dog page, the aim being for this to make "featured article" status at some point. The presenter part of the main Top Gear page that has become so argued about has been removed.

If you disagree, I recommend to make your opinions clear on the Talk:Top_Gear_Dog page. Davesmith33 19:48, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Davesmith33

I am working on a WP:AN/I report right now for disruption. His edits right now are ridiculous. I think a RfC would be a great idea. --PS2pcGAMER (talk) 22:20, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tyne and Wear metro nameboards

Please stop edit-warring over the issue of nameboards for the Tyne and Wear Metro station articles (e.g. Haymarket Metro station). Some kind of compromise needs to be reached, and persistent tit-for-tat reversions will not achieve this. I have left this message for all the editors involved.

As a compromise, I suggest having the nameboards somewhere else in the article but not as the station name in the infobox. Personally, I think this is the fairest solution. Please give it consideration. --RFBailey 19:44, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
