[edit] Bledsoe Bowls?

I don't know what the original author meant by a Bledsoe Bowl, so I can't edit that part. Otherwise I think this article is doing ok now. Jekoko 19:22, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)

It means that, since Bledsoe played for both teams, there was a little bit of an extra rivalry, just like the "Tuna Bowls" (referring to Bill Parcells) in the late '90's, between the Patriots and Parcelld' Jets.User:WinOne4TheGipper

[edit] Mention of Brady

While 66.67.253.51 has a point that this sentence praises Brady, it is necessary to the text in order to lead the reader to the understanding that the team made it to the Super Bowl that year but without Bledsoe's help for virtually the entire season. I revomoved this statement one of the NFL's oldest quarterbacks is too open ended at what point do you stop age 36, 35, 34, 33, etc also there is this from nfl.com

Is 1994 really Bledsoe's best season? Does this section really have any significance, I'm sure Bledsoe has had better seasons but no other NFL Athlete has a section like this.Demon Shaman 20:39, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Why is this section even in the article? This isn't a forum to speculate on how things would turned out if some event had or hadn't happened. It's a weasel statement: "Historians theorize..." Keep this stuff out of Wikipeida.

[edit] Bledsoe was *not* benched because of "injuries"

From the article: Recently, Drew was the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys until he was replaced by Tony Romo in Week 8 of the 2006 season because of some injuries.

That's hilarious. Parcells ran out of patience with Bledsoe's poor decision-making. I'm going to change that line once I find an article to reference. 160.39.214.116 20:19, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Article cleanup: What we need to do

This article was fairly light before, but today's edit by User:Imexpertandurnot has added quite a bit of information. Unfortunately, the tone of the new section is totally inappropriate. This article is going to need some work that I don't have time to give it right now. Here's what I see needing done:

  1. Rewording of article with an emphasis on neutral point-of-view and encyclopedic tone.
  2. Breakup of monolithic "Best season" section into three different sections covering his time with the Pats, Bills, and Cowboys.
  3. References and footnotes.

Anybody who wants to help out, please make notes under this heading as you go, and feel free to add objectives to the above list as you see fit. Let's whip this article into shape soon. A Train take the 22:03, 16 December 2006 (UTC)



[edit] what the hell happened?

this article keeps getting shorter and shorter, this guy was a number 1 draft pick, holds many records, led a team to a super bowl, has been around for well over a decade, and he has one paragraph? People just keep deleting more and more stuff, all his stats are gone now, no mention of his career before the cowboys. Just one paragraph.

I cleaned it up and seperated bledsoe's career into his seperate teams, added college info, and career stats year-by-year. Also added my photo of Mo Lewis' collision with Bledsoe. I can't think of a more significant hit in NFL history. Michigan10 02:26, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] the lead

The lead paragraph needs to be cleaned up. It was messed up in due to some reference problem and anonymous user back in February. MahangaTalk to me 21:23, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
