[edit] Plot

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

At Winfred-Louder, Drew is bewildered to see Larry walking on the ceiling, and notices that Mr. Wick is acting strangely. He soon realizes that they are aliens and pulls out a large gun and shoots the aliens. Oswald and Lewis arrive to assist him when his gun breaks, but it turns out their guns malfunction as well. Kate also arrives to bring Drew a weapon, which Drew uses to shoot Mimi when she is taken hostage by an alien. Oswald, Kate, and Lewis then turn into aliens and Drew ends up shooting them as well. Afterwards, he wakes up in his bed only to discover it was a nightmare. However, when he wakes up, he discovers that he is an alien himself. After this the theme song plays, and the rest of the episode differs from the opening sketch.

A major storm is headed towards Cleveland and Mr. Wick allows all of the employees with families to leave work early to spend time with their children. However, he requires all of the single workers to stay in the store. When the power goes out, Drew, Kate, Mimi and other single employees complain about having to stay in the store. Drew proposes that the group start a union for single employees. Mimi agrees, and believes that she should be named president of the union. As Drew argues he should be president since it was his idea, Mr. Wick arrives to break up the discussion about a union. When a tornado alarm sounds, the singles group head to the store's basement for protection. Mr. Wick gets caught in the store when the twister hits and when Mimi finds him curled up in a ball on the floor the next day, she takes him to her house after he begs her to do so.

At Drew's house, Oswald and Lewis accuse him of starting a singles' union as an excuse to meet women. Larry comes to Drew's house to warn him that the married employees will hurt him if the new union affects their benefits package. As soon as he leaves, a Dilbert doll attached to a brick crashes through Drew's window. Drew gets angry and decides that he will continue with starting the union and running for president against Mimi. At the Warsaw, Drew and Mimi compete for the position only to end in a tie. However, Mimi calls Mr. Wick and convinces him to sign off on the new benefits. Just as she is about to be voted president, the group realizes that since Mr. Wick has signed off on the new benefits, they no longer need a union and, consequently, a president.

Back at Drew's house, Kate and Oswald are talking in his living room and end up making out with each other while Drew and Lewis play pool in the backyard. At Mimi's apartment, she convinces Mr. Wick to sign multiple forms that will benefit her.

Spoilers end here.
