[edit] Plot synopsis

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Josh befriends Drew, a classmate who is very similar to Drake. Drake tries not to show his jealousy, but then meets Jerry, a Josh-esque classmate. As it turns out, Josh didn't realize how similar he was to Jerry. At the end of the episode, Drew and Jerry are asked to star in a sitcom called Drew & Jerry. Fans may notice that Drew & Jerry is a parody of (or tribute to) Drake & Josh.

[edit] Quotes

  • Drake: There she is!

(Picks up Megan and kisses her)

Megan: Eww! Gross! I just took a shower.

Drake: Sorry, but you're awesome.

Megan: Why? What did I do?

Drake: About Josh. He's so jealous of Jerry.

Megan: Good. (Walks to door) Oh, and if you ever pick me up and kiss me like that again, you're gonna wake up breathing through a tube.

  • Jerry: I have this new gamesphere. It's podular. POD-U-LAR!

Josh: I repeat words for emphasis. EM-PHA-SIS!

  • Josh: Oh, and I bet you're wearing my underpants too.

Jerry: I don't sleep with underwear on!

Josh: 3 words: keep the pajamas!!

  • Drake: Jerry, do that cool dance that you do!

Jerry: DANCIN'!

[edit] Trivia

  • When Drew and Jerry are offered their own show about two brothers, Drake comments that no one would watch such a show. Because Drake & Josh is about two brothers, this is an example of dramatic irony.
  • The clip of Drew & Jerry is a reference to the Drake & Josh episode Pool Shark (down to using synonyms for the original lines).
