Dreswick Point

Dreswick point lies at the southwestern tip of the Langness Peninsula in the south-east of the Isle of Man, some two kilometres from Castletown.

Langness Lighthouse was established in 1880 to guide boats into Castletown. Before this time, a landmark known as the Herring Tower held a lighted flair to guide fishing boats into what was previously the busiest port on the island.
