Dreaming Of You is the name of a popular Selena love song, and her signature one, written by Fran Golde and Tom Snow.
The song was released after Selena's tragic assassination at the end of the first quarter of 1995. It was released from the album of the same name, her only English effort, released posthumously. The song became a massive hit worldwide, and in a way brought the Tejano star back to life among her fans. It is believed to be her greatest hit surpassing even her numerous Spanish songs.
It has been covered by two Filipina artists, namely Rachelle Ann Go and Lovi Poe. Their versions appear on their debut albums. Lovi's version was released in the Philippines and was very successful.
