Dream 107.7 FM is a United Kingdom Independent Local Radio station broadcasting to mid-Essex. from Chelmsford, although in August 2006 the station moved to brand new studios 10 miles east of Chelmsford in Heybridge, Maldon.
It began as Chelmer FM, owned by Mid Essex Radio Ltd. In September 2001, it was bought by Tindle Radio Ltd. It became Dream 107 on February 14th 2002. In March 2002, the transmitter moved from Danbury (on the A414) to a site on a mobile phone mast at Church Green in the same village. This transmitter also carries digital radio.

The most famous DJ at Dream 107 is Tracie Young who was previously on Essex FM. Tracie was a singer in the 80's and sang Backing Vocals on several Jam singles as well has having her own hits. After a few years working at Essex FM for their travel department and 80s show, Tracie moved across to Time 107.5 in Romford briefly to do breakfast, before joining Dream 107.7 in 2003. She has presented most shifts at the station since joining, including breakfast and drive. Since August 2006, Tracie presents a Sunday night 80s show, and does an evening show during the week which is also syndicated on sister station Dream 100 in Colchester.
Other presenters (including former staff) include: David Baker, Craig Burchell, Roger Cutting, Mark Grantham, Nick Hull, Jon Leech, Barry Lewis, Paul Lovett, Sarah TC, Claire Thompson, Matt Wade. Mike Stevens. Terry Ray.
Current breakfast show presenter is Paul Lovett, well known as the Drivetime presenter at Essex FM in the late 1990s. He was also part of the Morning Crew at Crawley's Mercury FM from 2000-2004.
