[edit] Dravida and Dravidian

Hi, I'm not that familiar with the topic, but would the term Dravida andDravidian be the same things? Is Dravida a word for Dravidian people? I'm not proposing a merge yet but can this article be merged with Dravidian people and Dravidian languages? Brad T. Cordeiro 21:57, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

2 different, one is a historic term other is a modern anthropological classification. 216.95.23.95 06:09, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

The trivia section on Madrasis has been deleted since it has nothing to do with 'dravida'

On that subject, "Madrasi" redirects to this page. I'm totally ignorant of the subject, but perhaps someone wants to add a mention of the relation between this word and "Dravida" (i.e. why madrasi redirects here)? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.37.23.58 (talk) 03:36, 1 March 2007 (UTC).
