Dragonsworn

In the Wheel of Time books, Dragonsworn is the name given to a group of people who have sworn to serve and fight for the Dragon Reborn, or any False Dragon.

Often the Dragonsworn are no more than rioting peasants, and as a result clash frequently with the armed forces of whatever nation they arise in.

The Dragonsworn are people that mainly are hoping for glory, and desire to try to capitalize on the activities of a Dragon, whether he be a False Dragon or no. They are mostly fanatics, and always fight in groups, as most of them have no idea what they would do in a battle situation.
