Dr. Gangrene

Dr. Gangrene is a Tennessee based horror host. His original show, Chiller Cinema, began in 1999 on cable access television and quickly built a cult following. It later moved to the local UPN channel 30, where it was broadcast into 49 counties in Middle Tennessee and Southern KY.
The show changed again in 2005, this time changing the name to the WB58 Creature Feature and airing on Nashville's WB58 affilliate, again into all of Middle TN and southern KY.
Dr, Gangrene is played by Larry Underwood. The official website is http://www.drgangrene.com and in 2005 this website won a Rondo Award [1] for best classic horror website. Dr. Gangrene has been featured in articles and stories in a variety of newspapers and magazines including Scary Monsters Magazine, Outre Magazine, Gear Magazine (named Chiller Cinema the 11th best cable access show in the country), The Tennessean newspaper,and many more. Dr Gangrene is also well known for his live events, including concerts such as his annual "Horror Hootenanny" featuring multiple bands and short films, spookshows, movie hostings, and Science Fiction and horror Convention appearances. At Wonderfest in Louisvilly KY Dr Gangrene hosts an annual late night movie/extravaganza called "Chiller Cinema Live" which was nominated for a 2004 Rondo Award for best live show.
