Drăgăneşti-Olt is a town in Olt County, southern Romania with a population of 12,195 as of 2002. It lies on the left bank of the Olt River at an altitude of approx. 100 m. The first document mentioning is from 1526 and Drăgăneşti became a town in 1968.
