I am currently in my fourh year studying Economics at the University of Alberta. My academic interests include Microeconomics, Game Theory, Financial Markets, Calculus, Mathematical Economics, Econometrics, and whole host of other things, including running the local Economics Students' Association.
I also do research work at the Canadian Building Energy End-Use Data and Analysis Centre (CBEEDAC).
As of June 13, 2006, I am finishing off a project regarding Standby power, so perhaps I'll pass on some info on that to wiki.
Other non-academic interests include Martial Arts, specifically Kung Fu, and Ninjitsu. I also have a profound interest in China, and I am orally functional (and trying to become fluent) in Mandarin Chinese.
Formerly I was a Java software developer for several companies, included SignalSoft Inc., iKnowledge Inc., and Nereus Ltd.
I also have formerly obtained a diploma in object-oriented software technologies, from the University of Alberta
