Downtown Silver Spring, DTSS in the minds of many Maryland and DC teenagers, is a newly developed downtown area in Silver Spring, MD. Filled with several teen "hotspots," including both the Majestic Theater (Silver Spring) and AFI Theatre, Borders, and a lovely SoftLawn field, as well as several wonderful restaurants and cafes, this new development is certainly the place to be on Friday nights!
