[edit] Synopsis
In a cross-over continuation of the previous episode, set in real time during a cold winter night of a sudden snowstorm, Joey is robbed at gunpoint and forced to clean out her ATM account by a street mugger at a deserted area of Boston's Downtown Crossing district. But the robber ends up getting run over by a car in a hit-and-run accident, minutes after mugging Joey. Instead of calling the police, she stands by her aggressor, checking up on him and trying to get an ambulance to get him to the hospital after seeing the similarities between him and her own father, especially when Joey meets the guy's estranged wife Grace, and her young, tomboy daughter Sammy in the hospital waiting area.

[edit] Trivia
- The beginning of this episode picks up where the previous episode (5.14: Guerilla Filmmaking) finished, creating a pseudo two part episode.
- Katie Holmes was the only series regular featured in this episode, and because of that, Joey was the only character to appear in every episode of the series' run.
- James Van Der Beek (Dawson), Joshua Jackson (Pacey), Kerr Smith (Jack), and Michelle Williams (Jen) do not appear in this episode.
- This is the only episode that does not feature the usual opening sequence, instead, the sequence is a foggy graphic that features text only, not scenes from any other episodes nor the cast.
- Downtown Crossing is a shopping district in Boston, Massachusetts, located due south of the Boston Common and west of the Financial District.
[edit] Music Featured
