Dowling, Ontario

Dowling is a community of roughly 2000 residents in the Ontario city of Greater Sudbury, and was formerly known as Larchwood.
From 1973 to 2000, Dowling was part of the town of Onaping Falls, in the Regional Municipality of Sudsbury. On January 1, 2001, the Regional Municipality was dissolved into the single-tier City of Greater Sudbury.
Dowling has a Tim Hortons, a Outdoor Rink, a Leisure Centre, a Valumart, a pharmacy, three churches [babtist, united, and catholic], two elementary schools [french catholic, and public], and a corner store.
