Wikipedia is one of my favourite sites. I became an editor/user in June 2006. I'm an Englishman, and my speciality where editing is concerned is politically related articles. One of the things I first noticed is that Wikipedia seemed to have extensive information about virtually every American Congressman or vice-presidential nominee etc who has existed since the 18th Century, but not on British Members of Parliament (MPs) prior to the 1997 general election. I am working, with both my knowledge on the subject and various sources, to help to fill this gap - and now think there is an article for every British MP who has been elected since 1964, and also all the living MPs elected prior to 1964. Please alert me if you notice an exception! The 99-year old Bert Hazell, born in 1907, is currently the oldest.

But I do look at other subjects such as the world's oldest person and films, and will edit something if I feel it's appropriate. I have created categories in the past but they keep getting deleted or nominated for deletion - I have therefore decided to give up on them and focus on articles from now on. I welcome with open arms the polite, constructive comments from other users about how to improve my articles and contributions. Please note that I normally reply to such feedback on my user page.
