Dovecot, Merseyside

Dovecot is a district of Liverpool, England. It is situated to the east of the city, bordered by Knotty Ash, Wavertree, West Derby and, to the east, Roby, a part of the borough of Knowsley. The area is part of the Knotty Ash ward of Liverpool City Council; it's three councillors being Josie Mullen, Dave Irving and Chris Newby - all Liberal Democrats.

Dovecot is a small district, composed primarily of 20th Century terraced homes, usually large in size. There are a number of more desirable semi-detached houses on the border with Knotty Ash. The main attraction of the area is Dovecot Park, one of Liverpool's many public parks.
