White Pine Village opened in 1976. It is a village of over two dozen preserved and refurbished local historic buildings [1] of Mason County, Michigan. The buildings contain thousands of artifacts, much of which are from the Nineteenth Century. Historic White Pine Village is a self-guided tour educational experience for the entire family with many summer special events.[2] Historic White Pine Village is part of the Mason County Historical Society which has also the Ludington Mariners Old Time Baseball Team and a history / genealogy Research Library at the premises.
