Talk:Douglas Yeo
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I moved a paragraph and put in a few paragraph breaks, but the whole layout is distracting and a good example of why one should learn about linking items in Wikipedia. The item is lifted from the subject's website, and there are simply too many red links (items about which there are no entries now or, perhaps, ever). I have started to blue-link some of the empty red ones such that they actually go somewhere. Others should be unlinked. The early born and raised bio stuff should be somewhere near the top. There is too much hype in this piece. The guy's a great trombone player, but I think one of his students must have put this up originally. Maybe for extra credit! Jeffmatt 12:43, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] (a bit later)
I started the massive wikification project necessary to clean up the original entry. I took off the "needs to be wikified" tag, but it needs more work--which I'll get to sooner or later. We don't need to know, for example, who won the Super Bowl Game which featured Mr. Yeo as halftime soloist.Jeffmatt 16:37, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
