Doulting is a village and civil parish 1½ mile E. of Shepton Mallet, in the Mendip district of Somerset, England.

There are some extensive quarries of freestone, from which Wells Cathedral was built. There is a spring called St. Aldelm's Well, which is the source of the River Sheppy.

The parish church is dedicated to St. Aldhelm and dates from the 12th century. It is a grade I listed building.[2]
