Douglas Brian Sosnik (born September 26, 1956), an American political strategist.

Sosnik is a 1978 graduate of Duke University.

Sosnik is affiliated with the Democratic Party, and notably served as the political director for President Clinton during his second term. He also was a campaign strategist for Massachusetts Senator John Kerry during his unsuccessful 2004 presidential bid. Prior to joining the Clinton Administration, Sosnik was the chief of staff for Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd, and later worked with the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. He was most recently an informal adviser to Mark Warner, the former governor of Virginia during his preparation for a possible '08 run for President. He is the co-author of a book, Applebee's America, about political strategy.
