Doug Logan

Doug Logan was the first commissioner of Major League Soccer, serving in that capacity from 1996 to 1999, when he was replaced by Don Garber.

In 2001, he was brought in as a consultant in the creation of a professional Rugby union league, much in the same vein as MLS by stucturing the new league as a "single entity" system.
