Doug Hill is the Chief Meteorologist for ABC 7 News/WJLA-TV. He is the meteorologist for ABC 7 News at 5, 6, and 11. He has been awarded the "Seal of Approval" from the American Meteorological Society[citation needed]. Hill has also been honored the Washington Emmy Award for Broadcast Excellence[citation needed]. He has also served as a meteorologist for affiliates in Virginia, Washington, DC, and Michigan. Before being a meteorologist, he served as a police officer for Prince George's County[citation needed]. He also provides morning and afternoon weather forecasts for WTOP News as well.
