In this story, Doug notices that his dog, Porkchop, is acting different. Worrying, he learns that Porkchop has "puppy love" for a female dog. After Porkchop's successful date, Doug worries that his friendship with him is being torn. But then, they realize that Porkchop's date dumped him for another. At the end, Doug, Porkchop and Skeeter start to sing. But Skeeter meets a girl who dresses like him.

In this story, Doug is excited for getting school pictures. But when he meets Skeeter's baby brother, Dale, who started to learn to talk, Dale greets Doug "Honk! Honk! Hi ya Big Nose". Fearing that the picture he would be taking will not come out well. when Doug finally gets the picture, he realizes that it came out well.
