Dosti Acres

Dosti Acres is a large residential complex constructed by the Dosti Group of Mumbai, housing more than 1200 families. It is located at New Wadala, Mumbai, which is the name given to to that area in Wadala, which is predominantly residential.

Wadala (or Old Wadala) was known to be a slum infested area with a scattering of oil tanks, warehouses, salt pans and burial grounds. However, starting from 2000, many real estate developers started purchasing land from the government and transformed parts of the area into lower to upper middle class residential areas. The construction of the IMAX theatre and dome complex has also helped in starting the trend of residential apartment blocks at Wadala. Among the major residential complexes here are Bhakti Park, Dosti Estates, Dosti Acres and the two Lloyds' towers. Dosti Acres is located almost exactly at the infamous Antop Hill area. Coming from the Dadar or Parsi Colony (5 gardens) side, one would pass the Indian Oil Corporation tank and the Bombay Port Trust apartment block, then the Dosti Estates apartment block and finally reach this complex after climbing the Uphill Link road. The other gate of the complex opens out towards the Sion area.
[edit] Accessibility and public transport
The complex is 5 minutes away by car from both Dadar and Sion. There are many buses which ply along the wadala route - Antop Hill being a major bus stop. The harbour line also passes through Wadala, and is also 5 minutes away by vehicle from this complex.

Dosti Acres has a podium structure. There is a Club House at the centre of the complex. The Club House also opens out into the podium. A swimming and a landscaped garden complete with a strolling path dominated the podium. 7 residential towers overlook the Club House and the podium.
There is a jogging track inside another landscaped garden near the Uphill Link road entrance.
