Dorsey and Whitney Professor of Law

The Dorsey & Whitney Professorship at the University of Minnesota was established in 1986 by the law firm of Dorsey & Whitney to support a scholar of international renown at the Law School. Dorsey & Whitney's roots in the Twin Cities date to 1912; the firm is currently among the nation's 35 largest law firms, with offices around the world.
