Dorothy Kunhardt

Dorothy Kunhardt (September 29, 1901 – December, 1979) is an American children's-book author, best known for the baby book Pat the Bunny.

She was married to Philip B. Kunhardt, Sr. She had 4 children: Nancy Kunhardt Lodge- Deceased; Philip B. Kunhardt, Jr.- Deceased; Kenneth Kunhardt- Deceased; and Edith Kunhardt- Living. She is the grandmother of Peter Kunhardt.

She also wrote the books Twenty Days, which she wrote with her son, Philip B. Kunhardt, Jr.; Tiny Animal Stories; The Telephone Book; Lucky Mrs. Ticklefeather; Brave Mr. Buckingham; and Now Open the Box.
