From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dorothy Ford (b. April 4, 1923 in Perris, California) is an American actor and model active during the 1940s through 1960s. She began her career as a model, largely due to her extreme height of 6 feet, 2 inches (188 cm). In 1942, she made her screen debut in Lady in the Dark and would continue her acting career, including a role in Abbott and Costello's 1952 film, Jack and the Beanstalk, until 1966, when she put in her final (and uncredited) performance in The Wrong Box.
