Dora Ratjen

Hermann "Dora" Ratjen(November 20, 1918-?) competed for Germany in the Women's High Jump at the 1936 Summer Olympics and placed fourth. In 1957, Ratjen came forward and said "she" was actually male (with ambiguous genitalia) and was forced by the Nazi Youth Movement to disguse himself as a woman to compete in the competition. Little is know about Ratjen's life after that.
