Dora Gabe

Dora Gabe (Bulgarian: Дора Петрова Габе) (August 26, 1886 - November 16, 1983) was а Bulgarian poetess. She published poetry for grown ups and children as well as travel books, short stories and essays.
Gabe was born in the village of Harmanlak near Varna. She studied natural science at the University of Sofia, French philology in Geneva and graduated at the university in Grenoble. Among her best-known works are Wait sun, Invisible eyes and The world is a secret. After 1917 Gabe translated a huge number of foreign books.
