Dor Dínen

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dor Dínen (Silent Land in Sindarin), in J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional world of Middle-earth was a relinquished part of east Beleriand, north of Doriath. Contained by one of the upper branches of the Esgalduin (bordering Nan Dungortheb) and the Aros (bordering Himlad), it was said that no one had lived there for ages. To the south lies Neldoreth, and Ered Gorgoroth to the north. The region is best known for the Arosslach, which connected The Esgalduin and Aros.
