I think this discussion should be moved to the project pages and deleted from here. Maybe the authors agree?

[edit] Move (part 1)

This should probably be moved to "Doppelgängland (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)" in keeping with the other episodes, but again, even though I am logged in, Wiki won't let me. Argh. Wolf Deunan 23:01, Jun 27, 2004 (UTC)

It's now listed at requested moves. Some admin will take care of it in a few days' time. grendel|khan 20:51, 2005 Mar 22 (UTC)
Done, didn't need an admin, don't know what went wrong for you. HTH HAND --Phil | Talk 12:53, Mar 23, 2005 (UTC)
Um, I'm not showing it as having moved. Also, to be consistent with others on the List of Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes, the appropriate place to move this is to "Doppelgängland (Buffy episode)". That's how the other episodes are named. Not, that is to say "Doppelgängland (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)" as suggested above. I'm new, though, and don't know what to do in this circumstance.--Zero37 13:12, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)
No, the convention is to keep the names simple. I can't find the policy page to that effect, but we don't create a disambiguated page unless there's a reason to. See the naming conventions for albums, for an example. Generally, we refer to things by the shortest unambiguous name. So "Anne", the S3 premiere, should stay where it is, but unless there's already a [[Foo]] page, there's no reason to create [[Foo (Buffy episode)]]. grendel|khan 17:19, 2005 Mar 23 (UTC)

All the links into the article were using the correct (Doppelgängland (Buffy episode)) form as per project/whedon guidelines - only ones not were user & talk pages which are effectively 'historic'. As such I was bold and did the move rather than have all these multiple redirects floating around. --Vamp:Willow 20:14, 30 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Spelling

Not to be too picky, but is this episode really titled "Doppelgängland", or is it just "Doppelgangland" (i.e., does the "a" really have an umlaut)? I realize the title is derived from the umlauted German word, but that doesn't mean we can disregard what the creators of the work called it. Can someone check an published source (e.g., a script book, the DVD set) to verify which is correct? — Jeff Q (talk) 00:27, 24 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Quote

The text says "quoted from the DVD edition," but I just checked the DVD, and both the audio track and the subtitles say, "the person it was," not "he." So I fixed that. Exabit 09:30, 20 September 2005 (UTC)

What's the "arc significance" of the mourning scene? —Tamfang 01:38, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
