[edit] Roy Moore - moral basis for law
- I've taken the liberty of removing some of your recent edits to the article on Roy Moore, for reasons discussed in that article's talk page. In summary, I think that the elaboration of ideas on the topic "moral basis of law" might be better suited to a separate article on that subject itself; I'm also of the opinion that the text used there was highly POV and subject to dispute. Discussion on whether and/or how to include these concepts in the article is welcome on Talk:Roy Moore. Cheers! -- H·G (words/works) 19:19, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
- I see you have chosen to revert my changes rather than discuss them in the article's talk page. In the interest of avoiding an edit war, I have left your recent changes, adding some templates to note the issues that have been raised. (I did take the liberty of moving the section in question from Political life outside the judiciary to Judicial career since the subtopic obviously belongs under that topic.) I strongly request that you please visit the Talk page for Roy Moore to discuss the issues raised above. I also ask you to review Wikipedia:Etiquette guidelines for reaching consensus on article content. -- H·G (words/works) 23:02, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
- You have again ignored the guidelines for seeking consensus. I will revert the addition of your essay and invite you to engage in discussion of the article's content on Talk:Roy Moore. --Dystopos 15:31, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- Wikipedia guidelines advise the seeking of consensus when adding potentially or demonstrably controversial statements to an article. Opinions on the essay you have posted to Roy Moore have been voiced in the article's talk page, where I encourage you to work with other editors to find a way to include the objective facts in your essay that adheres to WP guidelines on verifiability, original research, and neutral point of view. -- H·G (words/works) 19:25, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

- You have now reverted the Roy Moore article for the fourth time in 24 hours. This is in violation of Wikipedia's three-revert rule. As a courtesy, I am warning you to desist before reporting you to be blocked for violating this policy. Please refrain from further reversions for the remainder of the day. -- H·G (words/works) 19:32, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future. |
