[edit] AfD Nomination: Donald Munro
An editor has nominated the article Donald Munro for deletion, under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the nomination (also see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on why the topic of the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome: participate in the discussion by editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Donald Munro. Add four tildes like this ˜˜˜˜ to sign your comments. You can also edit the article Donald Munro during the discussion, but do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top of the article), this will not end the deletion debate. [edit] User page
Donald - I appologize if it sounded as if I meant that the ranks were undeserved. Usually I am pretty clear that kyu ranks have meaning only in the dojo, while dan ranks have meaning only in the organization. How an organization awards the rank is their business but you have to admit non-martial artists tend to get a little over-awed by high numbers and those of us that train arts where you have to be something to be awarded 4th dan after 15 years - tend to be a bit jaded. That said - I think your contribution will be deleted but the content should be preserved. I advise moving it to your user page. There are a number of martial artists, some quite senior, that have done so. There are a number of categories such as Wikipedian:martial artists and such, you might have to create one for ninjutsu practioners. The whole ninjutsu category tends to be a mess so I believe your contribution would be very welcome. Leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions.Peter Rehse 10:03, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
Donald - I took the liberty of placing a redirect from your DonDon007 user page to Donald Munro user page mainly so you could see how it was done. I would move the contents of this talk page to the new talk page and put a redirect here also.Peter Rehse 08:10, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
