User talk:Don't Rain on my Burrito

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | unblock | contribs) asked to be unblocked, but an administrator or other user has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators or users can also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). This unblock request continues to be visible. Do not replace this message with another unblock request nor add another unblock request.

Request reason: "Please reduce block to time served. I won't do it again."

Decline reason: "You shouldn't have done it in the first place. I do not believe it appropriate to lift your block at this time but you may want to wait a while and request another unblock. Other admins, you are not obligated to deny the unblock simply because I have. -- Yamla 16:08, 16 February 2007 (UTC)"

This template should be removed when the block has expired, or after 2 days in the case of blocks of 1 week or longer.

I've been following this because I received collateral damage for this block. In looking at this user's contributions, I noticed that this user is new. I noticed that previous edits have been vandalism reversion. I also noticed that this user has never received a welcome notice and has never received a vandalism warning. Even more disturbing is the fact that the blocking admin didn't even bother to either warn or notify this user of the block. This is a very good example of biting the newbies! I urge any admin reviewing this to reduce the indef block to time served. Thanks! Malber (talk contribs game) 16:34, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unblock request

I have reduced your block to 48 hours and left a note for the original blocking admin to review it. In the interim, please take a look at the welcome message that I have pasted below and some of the policies and guidelines that it links to. Once your block expires, please edit constructively and remember that this is a serious encyclopedia. Thank you. --BigDT 18:06, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unblock request

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | unblock | contribs) asked to be unblocked, but an administrator or other user has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators or users can also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). This unblock request continues to be visible. Do not replace this message with another unblock request nor add another unblock request.

Request reason: "This block came with no administrative warning and no explanation for what vandalism it is attempting to prevent. It is completely punitive and in violation of WP:BP."

Decline reason: "This edit was in violation of Wikipedia:Vandalism. You were already given a second chance and you continued with your immature vandalism. Since you have no redeeming edits to your name, no further warning was required before your banning. You're no longer welcome here. --  Netsnipe  ►  15:14, 5 March 2007 (UTC)"
