[edit] Old AFD - Hypothetical middle school choir teacher
Putting on record my response to Gassy Guy's comment in the AFD discussion, in case this comes up for AfD again in future :
- I try not to be patronising—obviously I did not succeed. Your remark did not explain how a conductor is different from any other musician, and neither does WP:MUSIC. Your (hypothetical) middle school choir teacher went on a tour, but was not mentioned in a suitable source; Kendrick also toured but was mentioned. In my opinion, soloists and conductors are more notable than other members of an ensemble; but WP:MUSIC does not say so, and it seems that you think that a conductor is no more notable than a member of the chorus. I suspect that is the substance of our disagreement.
